We believe a piece of furniture is more than an object. It is a connection.

A link between forest and people, between living wood and the hand that shapes it, between those who chose it yesterday and those who will choose it tomorrow.

At tikamoon, a piece of furniture does not have just one life.
It lives many lives.

And if we design furniture for a lifetime, it is because we believe that by caring for our furniture, we also care for the world around it.

Who are we?

The brand was founded in Lille in 2008 by a small team driven by an entrepreneurial mindset. From the start, aware of our impact, we set out to establish concrete commitmentsto move creation and our ecological ambitions forward together.

For over 15 years, the brand has challenged today’s consumption model and shared its vision across Europe, and since 2024 in the United States.
Today, we are a team of over 200 passionate people working towards a broader shift to ever greater sustainability. A commitment that is also reflected in our focus on professional equality.

Behind every piece of furniture lies a tree, but above all a forest ecosystem that must be preserved. At tikamoon, we ensure full traceability of the wood used to craft our furniture and rely on FSC®-certified forests.

The choice of solid wood.

Behind every tikamoon piece, there is a tree, a forest, an ecosystem. Our furniture is crafted from carefully selected wood sourced from responsibly managed forests. We ensure measured harvesting, replanting, ecosystem preservation, and the most thoughtful use of each material. Every board matters. Wood is never just a material: it is a living resource we honour.

We chose solid wood because it stands the test of time better than any other material: durable, solid, endlessly repairable. From the tree’s first transformation, it requires little energy and preserves its full nobility.

It is an authentic material that develops a patina over time. Teak, walnut, oak, rosewood, acacia, mindi, mango… Our woods are as distinctive as they are timeless, each with its own nuances. And because the material is alive, we believe furniture should awaken the senses through true material: solid wood, living and warm.

Craftsmanship.

Our furniture is designed to last and be passed on. Its longevity is directly linked to its strength and its ability to be repaired. That is why our furniture is assembled using traditional joinery: precision joints that fit together without unnecessary hardware, allowing solid wood, as a living material, to respond naturally to changes in humidity and temperature.

Design.

Creating, designing and bringing distinctive pieces to life for life’s most beautiful moments is what drives us every day. Imagined by our designers, our furniture is made to accompany every life story for years to come. Because we are not simply retailers but designer-makers, we are committed to furnishing our customers’ homes sustainably.
