A virtuous circle that preserves resources, avoids the production of new furniture and keeps carbon locked within the wood.
CIRCLE was born from our belief that a piece of furniture should last longer than the time it takes a tree to regenerate. Yet our customers do not necessarily wish to keep their piece for 60, 80 or 100 years. We must therefore allow them to renew their furniture as their lives or tastes evolve. And we can, because our pieces are robust and resilient, designed to be repaired again and again.

The challenge is to prevent a piece from ending up on the pavement after ten years through neglect or lack of awareness. It is regrettable to craft furniture to last a century if it is destroyed after ten years. Destruction releases carbon that took the tree decades to capture. Over the decades, the idea is for tikamoon to ensure that each piece remains in good hands, cared for, repaired and passed on. With a regenerative ambition comes shared responsibility. We cannot simply release furniture into the world and let it take its course. We share responsibility for its condition over a century. Because our raw material is a primary resource. It is a treasure of stored carbon. A plank of wood is a precious material that should never be destroyed.
Frequently asked questions
Is it possible to return a piece from another brand?
Only furniture from the tikamoon brand is eligible for the Circle by tikamoon buy-back offer, with no age restriction. All tikamoon furniture qualifies for the “Circle by tikamoon” program, except decorative items (including mirrors), basins sold separately and seating containing foam.
How does the return service work and who covers the transport?
The piece is shipped via a carrier partner (transport costs are borne by the customer).
How is the condition of my piece assessed?
Based on the photos and information submitted with your buy-back request on tikamoon.co.uk, as well as the original purchase invoice, tikamoon will determine the condition of your piece and its eligibility for the buy-back offer.
After assessment, your piece will be assigned a category (very good condition, good condition, fair condition) and you will receive a buy-back offer.
Tikamoon reserves the right to refuse the return of any piece that does not meet the eligibility criteria following internal assessment.
How is the voucher amount determined?
Depending on the condition of the piece, a voucher will be issued corresponding to a percentage of the original price including VAT, subject to presentation of the original purchase invoice.
Transport costs will be deducted from the voucher.

How do I use my voucher?
The voucher is valid for one (1) year and can only be used on tikamoon products on https://www.tikamoon.co.uk
Is buy-back possible regardless of the condition of my piece?
Furniture eligible for our Circle service must be:
Complete (no parts missing),
Functional (mechanically usable, even if showing signs of wear),
Unmodified (no aesthetic or functional alterations to the original model).
The company reserves the right to refuse any piece that does not meet these criteria following internal assessment.
In the event of non-compliance with the above criteria, the company reserves the right to refuse the return of the piece.
This decision is unilateral and final and shall not give rise to any claim, appeal or compensation.
