With its rounded ends and interplay of two wood tones, the Gaya console table has a graphic, welcoming silhouette. Its deeper-toned body seems to rest between two solid, lighter legs that rise along its sides as if to hold it. A simple design, where the contrast between the tones gives the piece all its character.
Crafted from solid mango wood, it reveals a pronounced grain that reads differently beneath each tone. Fine grooves outline its contours, while two small round knobs quietly bring the drawer front to life. A stained and varnished finish protects the wood day after day.
In a hallway, it holds a catch-all tray, a lamp or the day's post, while its drawer keeps keys and small essentials close at hand. Just 30 cm deep, it also slips along a corridor or against a living room wall without getting in the way.
