Recycled plastic tabletop 120 cm - Le Pavé & Tikamoon

The Jim tabletop in recycled plastic, created in collaboration with Le Pavé, combines sustainable design and responsible expertise.

Le Pavé, a French company specialising in the manufacture of unique and sustainable eco-materials, has invented SoftSurface™, an innovative material that is fully derived from plastic waste, with no added resin, and produced at its plants in the Île-de-France and Burgundy regions. Hard-wearing, charming and easily recyclable, SoftSurface™ has already made it possible to recycle more than 1,300 tonnes of plastic since its creation.

Together, we came up with a limited edition SoftSurface™ bathroom tabletop, specially designed to sit perfectly on top of our solid wood furniture. Available in two sizes (80 x 45 cm and 120 x 45 cm, 8 mm thick), these tabletops offer elegant, durable protection for existing furniture.

Easy to drill into, you can install basins and taps by yourself. What's more, it offers a simple solution for renovating damaged furniture and making it last longer, rather than replacing it.

This collaboration illustrates our shared belief that the future of housing is built on circularity. Solid wood and recycled plastic are a natural pairing. By protecting or repairing furniture, we avoid producing new objects and creating waste, while limiting emissions linked to the furniture and construction sectors.

The Jim tabletop in recycled plastic  goes perfectly with our Jacob 120cm teak pieces and oak pieces, as well as the Jill 120cm bathroom furniture range. It is also available in a 80 cm version.
