“Umasqu”

Inspiration midway between African ancestral art and modern post-war art.

The brilliant designer, Tzachi Nevo, brings his talent and a touch of humour to familiar images such as faces, heads of animals and childhood allegories.

Although he likes to deconstruct and rebuild forms, he also loves reinventing the great tradition of African masks without abandoning his passion for the art of the mid twentieth century.

Fun, aesthetic and personal, Umasqu masks are not unique but are produced in very limited quantities to remain distinctive. They are genuine works of art, but affordable works of art.

Umasqu has very kindly lent us a few masks to differentiate the photographs of our Bonnie collection. You couldn’t miss it…
